JAX London Community Night 2011

Jessica Thornsby

Fancy a free Java community event?

JAX London
is a fortnight away now! And, once again, we are welcoming in the
wider Java community with a free Community Night which will be open to both JAX London
attendees and non-attendees on April 12th, 2011.

This year, Community Night attendees can choose to put their
Java EE knowledge to the test, with a Live Java EE Hacking session
run by Oracle’s Arun Gupta. Places are limited, so make sure you
register now to avoid missing out on this event! Attendees will
also have the opportunity to attend a session by JSR-310
specification lead, Stephen Colebourne, and take a closer look at
Globals, the free database from Intersystems in a session hosted by
Java Product Manager, Iran Hutchinson. Finally, BIRT Evangelist at
Actuate Corporation, Jason Weathersby, will introduce attendees to
the BIRT project through a series of live demonstrations.

In addition to this specially-selected Community Night
programme, we are giving attendees the chance to visit one of the
day’s final sessions from the main conference agenda. Just come
along early for your chance to get a taster of the JAX London

Registration for the Live Hacking session and
Community Night is now open. Visit the JAX London website now to
reserve your place. We look forward to seeing you!
