JavaOne To Run Parallel with Oracle OpenWorld

Charles Phillips has announced that Oracle will be retaining the JavaOne conference brand, in addition to expanding the annual Java conference to include Brazil, Russia, India and China.

JavaOne was established in 1996, and is traditionally held at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco in California, between April and June. This year, JavaOne will be held in September, to run parallel with Oracle's own OpenWorld conference.

Call for Papers will start on February 10th, and Oracle expect 40.000 attendees at OOW.
