Version 5.0.0-beta1 of the IzPack Java installer generator, has been released.

This release moves from an Ant-based build to a set of Maven modules, meaning that the code has been refactored accordingly. Classes have been decoupled through refactorings, and new unit and functional tests have been added. The project has also been moved to Git.

The team are currently calling on the IzPack community to test this beta release, report issues and contribute patches.
