1.8.3 and 1.9-beta-4 released
Groovy gets an update
While the two new releases largely consist of bug fixes, the Groovy team are working on some extra treats for fans of the language, you just might have to wait a little bit longer.
Amongst the fixes however are a few minor improvements, which might go some way to improving your Groovy experience until the next major update. One such enhancement is prompt customisation, a feature that has been requested for some time now.
This might not seem like much of a big deal, but if you frequently work with multiple terminal windows, small things like this can make a big difference, not to mention preventing the odd mistake. We've all run commands in the wrong window at some point.
