The Groovy development team have announced a maintenance release of the 1.7.x stable branch.

Groovy version 1.7.2 adds a utility method for converting GPathResults to XML, and a reverse method to Map. Closures should now have rcurry and ncurry, in addition to curry. There is also a list of bug fixes. Please see the Release Notes for more information.
