Web Application Framework

Grails 1.2.2 Released

Jessica Thornsby

SpringSource have released version 1.2.2 of Grails.

Grails is a web application framework built on Java and Groovy. This version introduces a new DSL for configuring JAR dependencies that can be resolved against Maven repositories. This is accompanied by a new command to install dependencies into your local cache, for use with this DSL. GSP and the Sitemesh rendering layer have both been updated.

Please see the Release Notes for more information.

Grails 1.2.2 can be downloaded from the Grails website. The next release of Grails – version 1.3 – will update the framework to the latest Groovy 1.7 features, and will introduce support for Maven repositories and declarative plugin dependencies.
