Google upgrades Docs for better collaboration

Google Docs editors have gone through an upgrade to help users collaborate better. You can now see what others type without having to refresh the page. With the sidebar chat you add and reply to comments from the documents.

As Google Docs blog sums up: better import/export fidelity, a revamped comment system, real margins and tab stops, and improved image layout within documents are what’s new in Docs.

In Google’s vision Apps that run from web or mobile and help users collaborate in real time will rule in future. That is the direction in which Google Docs are heading to.
