Google Open Source Acre Server-Based JavaScript Platform

After acquiring Metaweb in July, Google open source the Acre server-based JavaScript platform.

Google have open sourced the Acre server-based JavaScript
platform.

Google use Acre to power the Freebase Apps open data entity
graph. Developers can now run Acre on their own server. Acre 2.0.0
can be downloaded now from the project’s Google Code.

Google acquired MetaWeb, the developers of Freebase, back in
July, 2010.
