Padrino Ruby Framework

Get More Features for Sinatra!

Jessica Thornsby

Following the release of Sinatra 1.0, comes Padrino.

Padrino is a ruby framework that provides an additional layer of functionality for Sinatra, including helpers, admin interfaces, nested routes and generators.

“Our goal with Padrino is to stay true to the core principles of Sinatra while at the same time creating a standard library of tools, helpers and functions that will make Sinatra suitable for increasingly complex applications,” reads the Padrino website.

Padrino is Sinatra 1.0 compatible, and comes with support for a number of testing, templating, mocking, and database libraries. It also provides a unified logger that can interact with your ORM, or library.

Version 0.9 is available to download now from github.
