Eclipse AMP

First Release for Agent Modeling Platform

The new Agent Modeling Platform for Eclipse has announced its first official release.

AMP provides extensible frameworks and tools for working with agent-generated models (ABMs) and other domains that may require spatial, behavioural and functional features. It features an ABM meta-model representation, editor, generator and development environment.

Version 0.8 comes with built in support for visualisation and generation, and support for actions including minimisation, maximisation, diffusion, and derived values. These actions are now displayed in lists, not in the previous tree structure. The model representation and generation has also been improved, and many of the existing icons have been replaced or custom designed in an effort to provide a better user interface.
