First Release Candidate of JBoss Hibernate 3.5
JBoss have announced a first release candidate for object/relational persistence and query service Hibernate version 3.5.0.
The open source project follows the JBoss versioing scheme and facilitates the development of persistent classes following object-oriented idiom – including association, inheritance, polymorphism, composition, and collections. Version 3.5.0 CR1 introduces full support for derived identities. Full details can be viewed at the release notes.
Version 3.5 is aiming at being The Java Persistence API 2 compliant. “This is the first release we believe achieves that goal entirely,” blogged principal software engineer with JBoss and co-lead of the Hibernate project, Steve Ebersole.
