First Open Source Release for OpenWGA
The OpenWGA team have announced the first release of OpenWGA as open source.
This community edition of OpenWGA (codename 'OpenWGA 5.0 Dragon') restricts developers to MySQL as a repository backend, and users are unable to authenticate against LDAP or MS Active Directory, or synchronize content between a staging- and a life CMS-Server. However, it does include the OpenWGA IDE for developing CMS projects, and browser-based authoring UI. The source code for the community edition, is available as a download from the OpenWGA website.
The enterprise edition comes with additional modules, and supports authentication sources like LDAP and connectors for SQL backend systems, including DB2, Oracle, and MS-SQL. Licensing fees are available by contacting the OpenWGA sales team.
Please see the release announcement, for more information.
