GitHub Launch Issues 2.0

GitHub have launched version 2.0 of their issue tracker. Version 2.0 users can now assign someone to an issue and add it to a milestone:

Whenever someone closes or re-opens an issue, this is now displayed inline, and quicksearch has been added to the search field, which locates milestone and issues as the user types their query. GitHub launched their integrated issue tracking system almost two years ago.

Update for Casbah Scala Driver for MongoDB

Version 2.1.2 of the Casbah Scala driver for MongoDB, has been released. Casbah wraps the official MongoDB Java Driver, and provides a DSL query syntax and full Scala type support. This update adds UUID support to JSON Serialisation, and fixes issues with JMX and exception cases not putting back the dbport in pool.

Apache ActiveMQ Release Apollo 1.0 Beta 1

The Apache ActiveMQ team have announced the release of Apollo 1.0 Beta 1. Apollo is a messaging broker built from the original ActiveMQ foundations. This beta release features support for Stomp 1.0 and Stomp 1.1, REST based management and message swapping functionality.

First Milestone for PrimeFaces 3.0

The first milestone of PrimeFaces 3.0 has been released. This milestone adds PrimeFaces Mobile, with support for various mobile platforms, and the new components Ring, ScrollPanel, TagCloud and SelectManyMenu. Four pre-existing components have been rewritten, and PrimeFaces have updated to the latest release of jQuery, version 1.5.1. More information on all the changes, is available at the Changelog.
