First Enterprise Release of Mule 3 and Spring Data Graph Adds Neo4j Support

Google Project Hosting have added the ability to edit source code files directly in the browser, with an online editor powered by CodeMirror. Google Project Hosting users should now see an "edit file" link on files in the online source browser. While editing, you can also preview your changes:
Eclipse Dashboard New Project Lead
Wayne Beaton has announced that he is the new project lead of Eclipse Dashboard, following a period of stagnancy for the project. Eclipse Dashboard is a project for extracting data out of the Eclipse Foundation source code repositories and delivering it in a consumable form. "Dashboard isn't the sort of project that will be very active. Activity will come in short sprints as we make improvements, and respond to infrastructure changes," says Beaton.
Spring Data Graph Gets Neo4j Support
Spring Data Graph 1.0.0 M1 has been released with Neo4j support. Spring Data is a project that attempts to facilitate building Spring-powered apps that use "new" data access technologies, for example map-reduce frameworks and cloud-based data services. This milestone comes with AspectJ ITD backed field mapping for plain Java objects, and annotations for graph persistence. Building traversal descriptions and cross-store persistence including basic transaction, are also supported.
Sonatype Squeeze Out One Last m2eclipse Release
Sonatype have released m2eclipse version 0.12.1. In November, Sonatype announced that m2eclipse 0.12 would be the last release made available from the Sonatype servers, but decided to release 0.12.1 to make new versions of the m2eclipse dependencies available. This version includes Maven 3.0.2 embedded runtime, and an updated version of Async HTTP Client.
Appcelerator Acquire Aptana
Platform and services company Appcelerator have acquired Aptana, developers of the Aptana Studio web development environment. According to a post on the Appcelerator website, the company plan to use Aptana to "deliver on its vision of cloud-connected mobility by better connecting Appcelerator Titanium-based apps to cloud services."
Appcelerator closed on the Aptana acquisition on January 7th, 2011. Aptana's technology patents, customers, assets, and "most employees" were included as part of the deal.
JobServer 3.2 Adds Import/Export Functionality
JobServer 3.2 has been released. JobServer allows Java developers to build and extend SOA powered tasklets, to automate and schedule business processes. With this release, developers can build and test jobs on their development environment, and then export/import them to QA environments for testing. Jobs can be imported and exported using either command line tools or the JobServer GUI administration panel. The upgrade process has also been improved.
Grid Computing Solution JPPF 2.4 Released
Version 2.4 of the JPPF open source grid computing solution for parallelising CPU-intensive apps, has been announced. This release comes with an executor service facade that enables the grouping of tasks to be submitted individually. Tasks that are submitted individually are grouped into JPPF jobs. Users can now subscribe to node life cycle event, and disk overflow capabilities were added to the nodes and clients.
First Enterprise Release of Mule 3
The first Enterprise release of Mule 3 is now available. Mule 3.1 Enterprise adds the Mule ESB Management Console, which features service flow debugging, collaborative deployment, and performance diagnostics. The new customisable dashboards allows users to monitor their entire system from a single, customised screen. A free 30-day trial is available, for those interested in the product.
