Code Recommenders 0.1 Released

First Eclipse Release for Code Recommenders

Four weeks after the Code Recommenders project was provisioned, the team have made their first release as an Eclipse project. Code Recommenders 0.1 includes functionality for proposing a set of likely methods when the user triggers code completion on variables:

Code Recommenders 0.1 also displays which methods you may override in a given class, and the tool is enabled on a per project basis. According to the announcement, the next release will likely feature improved call chain completion and a template completion engine.

Code Recommenders is a project that aims to provide tools for automatically analysing large code repositories, and extracting and integrating data into a context-sensitive IDE.
