EGit 0.9 arrives with preliminary support for a synchronise view, and JGit gets non-filesystem based persistence support.

EGit and JGit versions 0.9 are now available!

EGit 0.9 gets preliminary support for a synchronise view and a configuration editor for managing .gitconfig. Meanwhile, the new release of JGit features a preliminary user guide, rename detection and support for .gitignore. JGit has also been refactored to support non-filesystem based persistence, enabling JGit to run on the cloud.

The current plan is to release 1.0 on time for the Indigo simultaneous release, with 0.10 expected later this year.
