EGit and JGit 0.10 Released

Gradle 0.9 With Added Daemon

Gradle 0.9 has been released. In this edition, Gradle will skip a task if its input files have not changed since the task last ran, regardless of whether the tasks are in-built or custom made by the user. Build scripts can be added to a project from any URL, meaning scripts can be shared using HTTP, and scripts can be applied to any arbitrary object. This release also includes the experimental Gradle daemon, which runs in the background and performs builds. For more information on the Gradle daemon, please visit the tool's webpage.

Apache Xerces-J Builds on XML Schema 1.1 Compliance

Apache Xerces-J 2.11.0 has been announced. This tool provides a processor for parsing, validating, serialising and manipulating XML. Apache Xerces-J 2.11.0 specifically targets improved compliance with the XML Schema 1.1 language, adding support and fixing various bugs related to this language. Nexus One Owner? Desperate For Gingerbread?

Desperate to get Gingerbread on your Nexus One? Now that the Gingerbread source code has been released, Andronica have posted a zip for the Nexus One, developed by Chris Soyars, which contains Gingerbread alone, currently without Google Apps or camera support, for those who can't wait for the official Google release.

EGit and JGit Reach 0.10

Chris Aniszczyk has announced that the EGit and JGit projects have reached 0.10. The JGit implementation of Git features a new histogram diff algorithm, which should result in improved readable diffs for real-world source code diffs, and native support for HTTP basic and digest authentication methods. More Git porcelain commands have also been added. Meanwhile, the EGit Eclipse Team provider for Git, now supports Rebase and Pull for branches.

The repositories view now supports drag and drop, and cherry-pick is also supported.

Nodejs 0.3.2 Released

Version 0.3.2 of nodejs has been announced. This release adds support for CNAME lookups in DNS module and upgrades the V8 to version 3.0.3. The 'os' and 'tty' modules have been added.
