According to Engadget, we won't be seeing Google OS-powered laptops this year. During an Acer press conference Jim Wong stated that Acer's netbook based on Chrome will be launched next year. However, Chrome fans can still hold out hope for some Chrome news in 2010, with Google tipped to be doing "something" in December. Engadget have a theory that this could be Google's own Chrome-book, but as the OS is still in the early stages, any Chrome-powered netbook would be aimed at the early adopter community.
