JRuby version 1.5.6 has been announced. This is a follow-up release that addresses problems with the mirroring of 1.5.5 in Maven, and updates the JRuby Native Launcher to version 1.0.3. All users of JRuby 1.5.5 (and lower) are recommended to upgrade to version 1.5.6.
