Apache ZooKeeper 3.3.1

Bug Fixes for Coordination Service

Jessica Thornsby

Apache ZooKeeper has reached version 3.3.1.

ZooKeeper is a centralised coordination service for distributed applications that can be used to implement group management and leader election. It exposes common services – for example group services and naming. It is a subproject of Apache Hadoop.

This release uses a new jar to publish sources in the Maven repository, and fixes bugs where certain four letter words failed with netcat, and zookeeper.jute.h’s failure to compile with -pedantic. Please see the Release Notes for more information.
