Beta of HttpClient 4.1

Jessica Thornsby

New release of HttpClient finalises 4.1 API.

A beta of HttpClient 4.1 has been announced. This release finalises the 4.1 API and adds full support for NTLMv1, NTLMv2, and NTLM2 Session authentication. The NTLM protocol code has also been added, and heuristic freshness caching is now allowed. If no major issues are found in this release, the final release can be expected in the first quarter of 2011. HttpClient provides a package implementing the client side of HTTP standards and recommendations.
