AspectJ 1.6.9 M1 now available
A first milestone of AspectJ 1.6.9 is now available.
AspectJ is an extension to the Java programming language that adds aspect-oriented programming capabilities to Java. It integrates with Eclipse, Netbeans, Emacs/XEmacs, JBuilder, and Ant.
With this release, it is now possible to use joinpoint context in attached messages to declare warning and error constructs, and to use a type pattern with declare warning and declare error. There is also a new construct that allows the user to narrow the types so that interfaces, inner types, classes or Aspects can be ignored. Please see the Release Notes for more information.
AspectJ snapshots will now be placed into a Maven repo.
