Distributed Application Management

Apache ZooKeeper 3.3.0

Jessica Thornsby

The Apache ZooKeeper team have announced version 3.3.0.

ZooKeeper is a coordination service for exposing
common services (e.g configuration management, synchronisation) in
distributed applications. It runs in Java, has bindings for both
Java and C, and uses a data model styled after the directory tree
structure seen in file systems.

New with this release are a distributed queue recipe
implementation, build support for eclipse project generation and
Maven support. Server supports now listen on a specified network
address, and a browser application can view and edit the contents
of a Zookeeper instance.

Please see the Release Notes for more information.
