The first release of Tomcat 7

The first Tomcat 7 release, Tomcat 7.0.0 beta, is now available.

This release implements the Servlet 3.0 and JSP 2.2 and EL 2.2
specifications, and introduces memory leak prevention and detection
and alias support. Tomcat 7.0.0 beta users also get protection
against session fixation attacks and a filter for adding cross-site
request forgery protection to an application.

Leverage AS/MC Features with Teiid 7.0

Teiid 7.0 is out now.

Teiid is a data virtualisation system for using data from
multiple, heterogeneous data stores.

Teiid 7.0 requires a JBoss AS 5.1 instance, which allows it to
leverage many AS/MC features, and comes with a preview release of
the new Teiid administration console. The connector API has been
separated into Translators and JCA components, with the aim of
simplifying the process of adding new integration sources to Teiid.
XML/Relational logic has been replaced by the SQL/XML XMLTABLE.

Cache Fixes for Apache Cassandra 0.6.3

Apache Cassandra have announced version 0.6.3.

This release fixes cache capacity only being recalculated once
and the cache size calculation for when the size is 100%. JMX
metrics have been added for row-level bloom filter false positives,
and a Redhat init script has been added to contrib.
