Apache Commons Lang is Now Based on Java 5

Apache Commons Lang have released version 3.0-beta.

Apache Commons Lang is a Java library that provides helper utilities for the java.lang API, including String manipulation methods and basic numerical methods.

The big change with this release, is that Lang is now Java 5 based. This means that Lang 3.0 is not backwards compatible with the 2.x versions. Also new with 3.0-beta, is support for the handling of ExecutionExceptions and support for background initialisation. There is also a new a concurrent package and a list of bug fixes.
