OMG Model-to-Text Specification

Accecleo gets new views for module definition, launching and debugging.

Acceleo 3.0 is out now.

Acceleo is an implementation of the OMG Model-to-text specification. This release is compatible with Eclipse 3.4, 3.5 and 3.6. However, there are some compatibility limitations, for example Acceleo modules that compile in Helios may not compile in Galileo and Ganymede, although Acceleo modules that compile in a given version will always compile in the subsequent Eclipse releases.

New views have been introduced to help with module definition, launching, and debugging, and the Acceleo module editor now provides refactoring actions and quick fixes.

Acceleo 3.1 is scheduled for a June 2011 release, along with the Eclipse Indigo release train. There are also a number of corrective versions planned for the 2.x maintenance stream. Version 2.7.1 will be released in 2010 and 2.8 will be released in 2011.
